Tomoka State Park
A natural and historic preserve along the Tomoka River where visitors can hike or bike beneath hardwood hammocks, paddle scenic waterways, watch wildlife, fish, picnic, camp, and explore an area inhabited by Native Americans for thousands of years.

Best time
Early morning for wildlife, cooler hiking conditions, and softer light, or late afternoon for river views.
Parking
Open 8:00 AM until sunset daily. Admission is $5 per vehicle for up to eight people, $4 for a single-occupant vehicle, or $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, and qualifying pass-holder passengers. Parking and restrooms are available in day-use areas. Pets are allowed in designated areas subject to Florida State Parks rules; bug repellent is useful during warmer months.
